The programs, services and support provided to students and educators throughout the state by Mississippi Public Broadcasting's (MPB) Education Services Bureau are vital to the mission set forth by the legislature for the agency. It is Education Services vision that all children will enter school with the foundation needed for academic and social success, that educators will be afforded the opportunities for high-quality, online professional development, and that our efforts to promote technology in Pre K - 12th grade classrooms will enhance instruction and academic achievement for all students. In addition, our collaborative efforts with schools and community entities have proven to promote and support high-quality programs and services for young children and their families.

Teachers' Domain (www.teachersdomain.org) is an online library of more than 1,000 free media resources from the best in public television. These classroom resources, featuring media from NOVA, Frontline, Design Squad, American Experience, and other public broadcasting and content partners are easy to use and correlate to state and national standards. Teachers' Domain resources include video and audio segments, Flash interactives, images, documents, lesson plans for teachers, and student-oriented activities.

PBS Teachers (www.pbs.org/teachers/connect) is PBS' national web destination for high-quality preK-12 educational resources. Here you'll find classroom materials suitable for a wide range of subjects and grade levels. We provide thousands of lesson plans, teaching activities, on-demand video assets, and interactive games and simulations. These resources are correlated to state and national educational standards and are tied to PBS' award-winning on-air and online programming like NOVA, Nature, Cyberchase, Between the Lions and more. PBS Teachers Connect is an online community of teachers exchanging ideas, resources and instructional strategies on the integration of digital media and technology.
